Just a few years ago, I was exactly where you are. I would jump on the diet bandwagon, start fresh on Monday and, by Wednesday, I had failed yet another diet.

Even as a nutritionist and personal trainer, I wasn't able to control my binge eating. In fact, at times it even made it worse. I felt like a failure, stressed over what I looked like and what the people around me would think of me. I obsessed over my image and had no time for anything else.

I felt overwhelmed and defeated. And I had no idea what to do to get unstuck because I couldn't figure out the first step to take.
Let's get real... My story is probably like yours, too...
Food controls your life. It's a vicious cycle of starting new diets, failing, binging, and then feeling this awful guilt that spirals you into eating some more. The cycle then repeats...

Listen, I freaking get it! I was in your shoes. I WAS YOU! After a long day at work on only a small salad, I would come home and find myself elbow-deep in a tub of ice cream. I would reach for air and immediately shove another spoonful in my mouth. I slipped up. I broke my diet yet again. Then I would say to myself "F this!" and continue to finish the tub of ice cream.

When the weekend came around I would say, "on Monday, I'll start again". I'll get rid of the “bad” food by eating everything today, and then start fresh on Monday.” The real reason I used to dread Mondays… it was always diet re-start day.

Does this sound familiar?

I am literally you, except a couple of steps ahead...

Not too long ago, I would find myself:
  • Following diet plans, only to go back to binging & overeating.
  • Letting food control my every thought and move.
  • Using food to suppress my emotions.
  • Avoiding social gatherings because I was afraid people would judge me for my weight gain.
  • Spending my days working out to burn everything I ate.
  • Endlessly chasing a number on the scale..
You are successful in so many areas of your life, but you can’t seem to figure out food and your body. 

You know you have so much to offer, but food continues to control you and your body insecurities keep holding you back.

Girl, it is NOT your fault! We just want to be loved and accepted. But, we feel that if we gain a pound we will lose the love and support that we work so hard to have.

We are conditioned to believe that we are not worthy unless we are skinny and meet society's standards of beauty.

Believe me when I tell you, I tried EVERYTHING to heal my relationship with food. 

I tried diet after diet, counted nutrient after nutrient, became a nutritionist, a personal trainer, a health coach... 

I spent over 10 years and over $100k (yes, you read that number right) on doctors, coaches, webinars, seminars, courses, certifications trying to get to the bottom of it.
I did it ALL, and then some.
  • I've worked with psychologists, psychiatrists, nutritionists.
  • I've been on anti-anxiety medication and anti-depressants.
  • ​I did a bikini competition just to prove that I could actually stick to a diet.
  • ​I became a personal trainer - that didn’t help me solve the problem. 
  • ​I then became a health coach - didn't help either.
  • ​I became a nutritionist. Giving people diet plans does NOT help them! It clearly didn't help me.
  • ​I went for my masters in more holistic nutrition and realized that that wasn’t it either!!
I could NOT get to the bottom of emotional eating and eating disorders for myself or for others.

How the hell did I overcome this? (hint: you can do this too!)

Enough was enough! I took a different route and decided to look internally!
I started doing tons of personal development and got certified as a food freedom and self-love coach!
Through the training, I was able to study and incorporate emotionality, beliefs, thoughts, and self-love. It has literally changed the game for me and my clients!

I've now gotten to the bottom of why I was eating emotionally and learned how to deal with those emotions. Does this ring a bell?
I've been able to stop binging and connect to my body again. I now look at myself - my TRUE, whole self - with a sense of appreciation. 
I look at my health and nutrition from a place of love instead of hate and fear.
I never thought I’d be where I am today!

AND... I FINALLY ACHIEVED MY IDEAL WEIGHT! As a byproduct of the changes I made.
